How Can Your Major/Career Make the World a Better Place

I don't know if this has to do with my career, but I want to draw all my life so, I think my drawings can make the world a better place for people with mental illnesses and for the neurotypical people so that they can understand more about us.

I usually draw about how my mental illness affects me in certain ways or how my day to day is dealing with this. I try to portray a mix of my good mood and my bad mood, I also depict very important issues like hurting yourself.

Because yeah, it is a bad thing to do, but it happens. People with mental illnesses, like me, pull out their hair, beat themselves, cut themselves during depressive crisis, and that is something that people don't talk about! People think it's a call out for attention and sees this in a very despective way and I think is not the way we should talk about this.

People with depressive episodes, believe me, they don't think about attention when they hurt themselves, they just want to feel fiscal pain so they don't feel the mental pain.

I want to deliver all these topics in my art and I think that it is a very safe space for all of the people with mental illnesses and for the neourotypical people to understand a lot of things about us.

We are not monsters, or bad people, we are just people with an illness. And we are trying to live with it, so I'm going to make people care more about this with my art. I'm gonna make people stop shaming us for being different or having an illness.

My favorite picture

 

This is my favorite picture because I was with my cat when she was a tiny small bean. Look at her she was so fluffy and little. 

I love this moment because when I adopt her she was a very sweet kitten. Now she is a witch!! She only loves my dad but I don't care I still love her with all my heart.

This is a picture of her now, she's so big and fat, like a fluffy ball. She doesn't want to be touched or pet, because only allows at my dad to give her love. Im jealous.

A meal food I like

 Hello y'all!

a meal food I like is definitely thin layer orange cake! I love it, is like a pancake texture and is so citric! I really love the flavor because I love citric fruits so much, like lemon and orange.

I also love salads, any salads, they are my favorite thing in the whole word. I can't live If a don't have a salad in my table at lunch but, also, I ate this and any part of the day. 

I love my salad with a lot of lemon juice. 

Other meal that I like is lemon pie! I love the texture and the sour taste in the limon pie, omg is such a delicious thing !

My favorite piece of technology

 My favorite piece of technology right now is my iPad, I really love it! it gives me so many tools so I can draw very good drawings. 

I used to want a iPad so bad, but because of money I can't have one. I have 2 Wacom tablets, gifs in my birthday, but drawing in a iPad is just different and better. 

I don't know what else to say, but I really enjoy my iPad and im so happy that I finally have one.

Why I choose this career

 Hello!

I chose this career because art save me when I was suffering a bad mental health year. I was so depressed, before this I was studying law, I love it. I really enjoy reading and debating with classmates, but something happened that year, my grandmother lost her battle with cancer and that just hit me. I couldn't going out of the bed or doing anything. 

I love drawing, I started drawing since very short age but I didn't put serious about it. I had in that time a Wacom tablet, so I start doing art and sharing that online. People love what I was doing even if was so bad about it! Is just so funny think about two years ago, with my first digital drawings, I barely known anything about digital drawing so you can imagine how bad I was. 

But I was doing it with love and faith, I was hoping to share with the world my feelings, in that dark part of my life I finally found something that brigs me joy. 

Then I decided, im going to focus on this, learn a lot of this, so I can show to the world more art, more of me, more about mental illness and how can love make a difference.

Hi, I'm Ayram Yuyuniz, I'm from Chile.

I have 22 years old and im a very extrovert person. I have a boyfriend, his name is Felipe, is a wonderful person and I love him very much. I loveee the color pink! is like my favorite color and my favorite thing in the world.

I follow the "Lolita" style. I love to dress cute things inspired in Japanese styles. 

I also love Hello Kitty and other characters from "Sanrio" like My Melody. My melody is my favorite character because is a bunny with a pink hat.

I have a mental illness called borderline, is a very sad thing about me but is something I have to live with, so I just accepted this in my life and I'm trying to live a normally, happy and healthy life.

I have three cats, female cats, they are so funny! one of them is a Calico cat the other is a tortoiseshell cat and the las one a blue cat. 

My calico cat name is Cuchufli, tortoiseshell cat name is Cutufa and my blue cat name is Cosima. Cosima name is from "Orphan Black" my favorite show.
